Fred Hampton Summer Camp

with four full days a week, four-week experience (July 5-July 29)
at Jefferson HS for students in grades 3-8.

Fred Hampton Summer 2022 Camp has 8 spots remaining for a wonderful youth cohort experience exploring the local histories of the Alberta x Albina neighborhoods and how those link into the legacy of the Black Panthers and the first Rainbow Coalition. Campers will enjoy experiential learning strategies based in exploring the neighborhood, meeting culturally and historically significant figures, doing creative art projects, and tasting their way through the neighborhood's finest culturally relevant food stuff!

Thanks to the generous support of Portland Public School’s Summer Enrichment Program, each camp is FREE to the public.
