Join us in celebrating the closing of COMING HOME: Memory Activism in Old Town as we conclude this powerful Cultural Week of Action for Race and Democracy, part of a nationwide initiative. Vanport Mosaic invites you to join us in honoring our collective cultural contributions to Portland's history and future, and inspire continued action for a more inclusive and vibrant community. The day will feature music, dance, poetry, and powerful speakers to encourage us all to continue the important work of memory activism as we move forward from this meaningful week. 
HIghlights include

PORTLAND TAIKO Portland Taiko blends the tradition of Japanese taiko drumming with a sense of Asian American identity, creativity, and empowerment. 

Süssefüsse ("Sweetfeet")  Sussefusse ia an international folk dance troupe whose goal is to celebrate global cultures, through dance. Founded by international folk dancer Heidi Vorst, together we will experience the heart of culture through dance. 

Ritual of Communities Together create a Ritual for Our Communities to intertwine(deepen) our bonds and move our personal and global work forward. Healing energy renewing our spirits. Led by Dr.S. Renee Mitchell and Chisao Hata.
