• FacYusuf Iqbal, the owner of Mingala International Market, is an active community organizer and activist for human rights. He is one of the estimated 1,000 Rohingya refugees in Portland.

• The Rohingya are a Muslim minority group from Myanmar, also known as Burma. They are considered “the most persecuted minority in the world” by the United Nations.
